Verdant Guide (the "App") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, and the choices available to you. Please read this policy before using the App.

1. Information We Handle
Information you provide: The App does not offer account registration, profile forms, comments, or in-app customer service forms. You are not asked to provide your name, email address, phone number, identity document, or similar personal information.
Service request information: Travel guides and images are retrieved from our servers. When the App requests content, the server may receive the requested content, language, request time, IP address, App version, device type, and operating-system version. Language, bookmark, search, and filter choices may be used as necessary to return and display the content you request, but they are not associated with an account profile.
Clipboard: When you actively use the share function, the App writes the selected guide title to the system clipboard. The App does not read unrelated clipboard content.
Automatically generated records: The release version does not integrate advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs. Our servers may generate limited access, security, and error logs when providing content. We do not request precise location, contacts, photos, or an advertising identifier for this purpose.
2. How Information Is Used
We do not use information for advertising, profiling, cross-app tracking, or marketing. Information handled while you use the App is used only to:
- display travel guides, itineraries, cautions, and local tips;
- apply your current language, search, filter, and bookmark choices;
- copy a guide title when you request the share action; and
- deliver content from our servers and maintain the security and normal operation of the App and its backend services.
3. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or exchange your personal information. Limited request data may be processed by infrastructure providers that help us operate servers, networks, content delivery, security, or technical support. These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to us and must protect it under applicable agreements and law.
We may also disclose information with your consent or when required by law, judicial process, or a lawful government request, and only to the extent information is actually held by us.
4. Storage and Security
Travel content and images are retrieved from our servers. Server access, security, and error logs may be retained only for the period reasonably necessary to provide the service, troubleshoot faults, protect security, and meet legal obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymised where appropriate.
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls and appropriate transmission protections, to protect information. No internet transmission or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.
5. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of personal information, and to withdraw consent.
The App does not create an account or server-side personal profile. You can clear the App's data through your device settings or uninstall the App. To ask about access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection concerning server records that may relate to you, contact us using the address below. We will verify and respond as required by applicable law.
6. Third-Party Services and Permissions
The current release does not integrate advertising, analytics, social login, or push-notification SDKs. It does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or other sensitive device permissions.
The App connects to our backend and may rely on hosting, network, content-delivery, or security providers to deliver travel guides and images. If the App later links to an external website or adds another third-party service, that service's privacy policy will govern its own processing. We will update this policy before introducing material new data practices.
7. Children's Privacy
The App provides general travel-reference content and is not specifically directed to children under 13 or the minimum age set by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will investigate and delete it where applicable.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when App features, legal requirements, or data practices change. The revised policy will show a new update and effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide an appropriate notice in the App or through another reasonable channel before the change takes effect where required.
